CONCEPT
‘We are such stuff sas dreams are made on, and our little life is rounded with a sleep.’
(William Shakespeare)
The evocative power of Shakespeare’s work meets the expressive possibilities of immersive digital art in the installation THE TEMPEST, inspired by the homonymous play by William Shakespeare and specifically by the initial scene of the shipwreck, with a seamless movement of sea waves that transports the visitors to the wreck of our certainties and abandons them to an unknown island, a place of magic and transformation.
Today, Shakespeare’s text seems appropriate to describe digital art which stages optical illusions, ephemeral scenographies, visual and sound deceptions. Through a completely video-projected environment, the public is transported on a sensorial journey that blends moving images, music and sounds in an installation capable of enveloping and involving all the senses.
Award-winning studio specializing in videoart, videomapping, immersive experiences and new media art projects.
THE FAKE FACTORY created visuals and curated visual installations for public and private institutions in prestigious contexts worldwide.
